This is the best habitat I have found but BEWARE it is HUGE!!!! It is amazingly huge, but so easy to assemble, there is barely anything to do!!! Just velcro and snap and it is finished. I bought it to go with my habitat, I would not buy the habitat with out the top panel. If you have more than one guinea go for it. Mine love it. The only issue is the size, get ready to clean for a while lol

We ordered this top to go with our Midwest Guinea Habitat cage. There's not much to say about the top. It fits and works fine. I actually enjoy the fact that it can fold 3 times allowing you to open 1/4, 1/2 or 3/4 of the cage top and has hooks to hook onto the cage so it can't just be opened randomly. I did not give it a full 5 stars because the metal that the whole cage and lid is made out of is flimsier than I expected, but it is sturdy enough for its purpose.

I ordered this top panel after I purchased the cage because my guinea pigs like to jump on top of their igloo, and then try to get out of the cage. It fits over the cage nicely. The hooks that connect to the cage are kind of annoying because they don't always want to go on right unless the cage is lined up just perfect. It's not really necessary to hook them anyway because it stays on pretty good. I also like how you can flip the cage open a quarter of the way open, or half way open either side of the cage. Honestly, I don't think it was worth 20 dollars just for the topper, but it will be convenient in to have when it's nice outside so that I can have my guinea pigs outside in the grass for a little. Overall, it creates a nice look to my guinea pig cage and is a nice addition to have.
