Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Excellent incubation guide for parrot breeders   June 30, 1998
21 out of 21 found this review helpful

This is an excellent book for learning the basics of egg developement, whether parent-reared or incubated parrots, and is a must for every serious aviculturist's library. You learn to recognize dead-in-the-shell babies, as well as how to repair damaged eggs, perform assisted hatches and hand-rearing techniques. This book will be referred to over and over again as questions arise concerning the production of eggs and developement of baby parrots.

5 out of 5 stars Essential for anyone with a pair of parrots!   May 8, 1998

This is an easy to understand, simple to follow guide to producing healthy young parrots. You will be guided through parent or artificial incubation, humidity and temperature regulation, needed equipment, when to (and not to)assist and how to do it.
