I was surprised and disappointed that when I reordered "Paraket Gourmet Diet" food, I was instead sent a lesser, non-gourmet version "Parakeet Diet" described in the other one-star review. This is known as "bait-and-switch" and it is dishonest.

that is the only food that my birds like they don't like anthing else. Since it is not carry in the local stores this is the only way that i can order.

My parakeet is very picky and I was happy to get the food that was discontinued at our local store. However, the bag came with a hole in it and since the box had been mishandled as well (large hole in the box), some seed was missing. It would have been a very good idea to wrap the seed bag in another bag prior to shipping. Very bad packaging job.

Hartz Bonanza Parakeet Diet 4-Pound Supply....MY BIRD LOVED THE BIRD FOOD.WHEN I GOT IT AND PUT IT IN HIS FEEDER HE WENT ABSOLUTLY NUTS OVER THE MANY DIFFERENT SEEDS INSIDE.FIRST THING MY BIRD WENT FOR WAS THE BITS OF FRUIT AND THE OAT GROATS IN PARTICULAR.HE LOVED IT ALL BUT THAT WAS HIS FAVORITE PART OF THE PRODUCT....SINCERELY DARRELL

I'm very disappointed that what we received is the blue packages of Hartz in the mail. I thought you still had some of the original food in the warehouse. The picture shows the original packaging. The new blend is completely different than the old food. I hope and pray our little bird will get used to the new food in time. I mix the old & new, but he won't eat very much of it. I have shopped all over and finally found some of the old food.
